Counselling for individuals
No Limits Trading provide 1-1 counselling for clients of all ages. Counselling is an opportunity to talk to someone in confidence about anything that could be concerning you. This could be home life, work, school, college, relationships or just about how you are feeling about yourself.
Our trained and skilled counsellors are friendly, welcoming and won’t make judgements about what you tell them.
Counselling takes place at our office in central Southampton. Sessions will initially be offered in blocks of 6, but you can have as many as you need.
What to expect from counselling?
Making the decision to get help and address issues that are being faced, is an important first step. No Limits Trading provide counselling services that are tailored to your needs, whether this is through traditional forms of counselling, group counselling or sessions that can tap into your creativity.
In the first session it is likely that the counsellor will ask some questions in order to gain an understanding of main areas of concern and the thought processes behind it. All of the information obtained is used to help in future sessions.
Some questions the counsellor may ask include:
• Why are you seeking counselling? - You will most likely be asked what it is that has brought you here. This is your opportunity to discuss exactly why you are there and what you hope to gain from counselling.
• What is your current situation and personal history? - It is important to let your counsellor know your current situation, this includes any day-to-day issues you are facing and even your work and home life. Discussing your personal history will give your counsellor a chance to understand more about you as a person and why these issues may have occurred.
• What symptoms are you experiencing? - Whether these are physical or psychological, it is important to discuss any symptoms with your counsellor. It is advised that you be honest and open when answering these questions in order to get the most out of your counselling sessions.
During your counselling experience you should aim to build a trusting relationship with your counsellor so that you feel safe and confident discussing your worries.
